Website privacy notice
Last updated: 29 October 2026. This notice covers this website, shiftng.org. The ShiftNG app will have its own Privacy Policy, published here before the app is available in the stores.
In short
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools.
- It has no sign-in and no forms. We only receive information you choose to send us by email.
- Everything on the site, including its text styles, is served from shiftng.org itself, so your browser makes no requests to other companies when you read it.
Hosting
The website is hosted by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. in the United States. Like any web host, GitHub receives the technical details your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, and may keep them for a short time to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. ShiftNG does not see or use these details. GitHub's own privacy statement explains how it handles them.
When you email us
Our email is hosted by Namecheap's Private Email service. When you write to us, we receive your email address and what you send, and use them only to answer you. We do not add you to any mailing list. We delete messages when they are no longer needed to deal with your enquiry, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you from your emails, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to privacy@shiftng.org. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Who we are
This website is run by ShiftNG. The organisation behind ShiftNG is in the process of registering in Nigeria; its registered name and address will be added here once registration is complete. For any privacy question, write to privacy@shiftng.org.
Changes
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this notice and the date at the top.
